Pastor Ray KanePastor Ray Kane was appointed as Lead Pastor to Grace Church July 1, 2017.
Pastor Ray grew up in Youngsville, PA, and was introduced to Jesus at age 16. During his senior year in high school, Ray sensed God's calling to ordained ministry, and went on to pursue a BA in Preministerial Studies and a minor in Youth Ministries from Geneva College (Beaver Falls, PA). He then received the Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary (Wilmore, KY) and met Robin, an Elementary Education major, attending Asbury College. They graduated in May 1988, were married July 2, and received their first church appointment. After serving 2 years, Ray was ordained Elder (1990) in the Western Pennsylvania Annual Conference. Ray and Robin came to Ohio in 1990 and have served congregations in Goshen, West Chester, Etna, Newark, and Findlay. Robin has taught various grades of elementary school. During those years they were blessed with 2 children. Alex recently graduated from Huntington University (IN) with a BS in 3-D Animation & Computer Science. Mary Beth is a Music/Theater sophomore at Asbury University (KY). Pastor Ray is passionate about introducing people to Jesus, assisting their spiritual growth in God's Word, and connecting their spiritual gifts with ministry opportunities. He is a gifted teacher, guitar player, and drummer. His life-verse is Galatians 2:19-20, "I am crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me." |

The staff includes a variety of roles, including pastors, administrators, teachers, and support staff, all of whom share a commitment to their faith and a passion for serving others. Together, the Church Staff works to create a community that is supportive, caring, and nurturing, helping individuals to grow in their faith, build relationships, and serve others.
