2021 Sweetheart Dinner

Our youth group puts on an annual Sweetheart Dinner in February as both a ministry to family, friends, and surrounding community of Grace Church, and a fundraiser for youth group activities. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic this year, we prepared “Date Night In A Bag” for take out or delivery only, which allowed us to serve more people through this event than in years past. Many gifted dinners to friends, shut-ins, and singles in our community. A couples painting contest was facilitated for the evening’s activity. We asked participants to submit photos of their paintings of a scene, landscape, or thing that reminds them of their favorite vacation spot, and encouraged them to use a complimenting background in their photos. The winning photos are posted below. The proceeds helped fund our youth mission trip to Middleburg, Florida to assist a family in need with home renovations. Planning is underway for our 2022 event!
